Our blown glass ornament balls are amazing off-holiday season home decor! We’re currently enjoying them in our sunny kitchen with a mixture of amber browns and Sapphire blues.
Last weekend Carrie and I checked out Austin’s first Armadillo Art Glass Initiative held at the Palmer Event Center. We were both inspired by watching the glassblowers demonstrating their skills on the torch. Carrie excitedly took her first experience on the torch last night! Showing her a few moves put me in the glass groove, which I used to take my first attempt at a flamework M.U.S.C.L.E. inpsired figurine. He stands 2 inches tall and is made of 100% finicky bottle glass.
We have a fantastic Etsy customer who has commissioned a blown art glass goblet for her 21st birthday. What a way to celebrate!!
The goblet on the left is available for sale here!
A Sunburst Yellow Dragon series blown glass wall art. The spiny rondel features 3 black canes spiraled through a burst of orange, red, marigold, and canary yellow frit to the black & white center. Blown on April 18, 2010. Will be listed on the Wolf Art Glass Etsy site.
